en: '"If there are sentient beings who anywhere hear this Great Mantra of the Light of Initiation pass through their ear faculties two, three, or seven times, they will immediately eliminate all karmic obstacles. If sentient beings have committed all of the ten non-virtues, the five heinous crimes, and the four grave sins, as numerous as fine dust motes filling this world, and upon the breaking of the body at the end of life they fall into the evil destinies: if one empowers earth and sand with this mantra one hundred and eight times, and in a śītavana scatters it over the corpse and bones of the deceased, or scatters it over the grave, scattering it wherever encountered, that deceased person—whether in hell, among hungry ghosts, among asuras, or among animals—by the power of the mantra and original vows of all unfailing Tathāgatas and the unfailing Vairocana Tathāgata, and the earth and sand empowered by the Great Mantra of the Light of Initiation, will immediately have light reach their body, eliminate all sinful retributions, cast off that body of suffering, and go to the Western Sukhāvatī realm, to be transformed from a lotus flower, and all the way to bodhi never fall back again."'"
