Answer: "Among the present buddhas of the ten directions, Amitābha is the most supreme, most venerable, and most compassionate; furthermore, among the buddhas of the ten directions, Amitābha Buddha has established the deepest affinity with sentient beings; among the present buddhas of the ten directions, Amitābha Buddha's vow-power gathers the most sentient beings; furthermore, among the pure lands of the buddhas of the ten directions, Amitābha Buddha's pure land is the best, chosen by Vaidehī and others; furthermore, among the pure lands of the ten directions, Amitābha's pure land is the closest; among the names of the buddhas of the ten directions, the merit of reciting the name of Amitābha Buddha is the greatest. Therefore, we exclusively practice mindfulness of Amitābha Buddha, and do not practice mindfulness of other buddhas."
