問曰：「念現在佛，專注一境，已聞奧義。所念之佛，窮玄極聖，尊號如來可矣，而能念佛人，俯窺真門，尚在凡位，安得叨竊，言同正覺哉？」

Question: Regarding mindfulness of the present buddhas with single-minded focus on one realm, I have already heard the profound meaning. The buddha who is contemplated exhausts the mystery and reaches the ultimate sanctity, so the honorific title of 'Tathāgata' is fitting; but the person capable of buddha-mindfulness merely peers down at the true gate and still abides in an ordinary station—how can such a person presume to claim identity with the Rightly Awakened One?
