'Mindful of the Buddha's true golden color,
Abiding peacefully in a mind free of attachment,
Contemplating phenomena: what is called a buddha?
Gathering the mind in continuous succession;
The golden color is not the Tathāgata,
And the other four aggregates are likewise so;
Apart from form there is no Tathāgata;
Conception and consciousness should be known accordingly.
This is the Buddha, the World-Honoured One's
Most supreme and quiescent abode,
Well able to extinguish all
Heretical false views of non-Buddhists,
Like a dragon king pouring down rain,
Whose moisture extends to everything.'
