若有過去一切十惡五逆四重諸罪，得聞此大灌頂光真言三七遍，即得除滅一切罪障。若諸眾生具造十惡五逆四重諸罪，猶如微塵滿斯世界，身壞命終墮諸惡道，以是真言加持土沙一百八遍，屍陀林中散亡者屍骸上、或散墓上塔上，彼所亡者若地獄、餓鬼、修羅、傍生中，以一切不空如來、毘盧遮那如來真言加持沙土之力，應時即得光明，及身除諸罪報，捨所苦身，往於西方極樂國土，蓮華化生，乃至菩提更不墮落。

"If anyone has all the transgressions of the past—the ten evil deeds, the five rebellious acts, and the four grave offenses—and gets to hear this Great Consecration Light Dhāraṇī twenty-one times, all their sinful obstructions will immediately be eradicated. If sentient beings have fully committed the ten evil deeds, the five rebellious acts, and the four grave offenses, filling this world like fine dust, and upon bodily dissolution and the end of life fall into the evil destinies: if this dhāraṇī is empowered over earth and sand one hundred and eight times, and it is scattered in a charnel ground upon the deceased person's bones, or scattered over the grave or stūpa, then even if that deceased one is in the hells, hungry ghosts, asuras, or animals, through the power of the sand empowered by the dhāraṇī of all the Unfailing Tathāgatas and Vairocana Tathāgata, the radiance will immediately reach their body and eliminate all retribution for sin. Casting off that body of suffering, they will go to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, be born by transformation in a lotus flower, and will never again fall back until bodhi."
