此呪有六哆字，藏中經本注多曷切，此為正呼也。龍舒文恐人不正此音，並改為掇字。擅改呪文，世所不許。有二他字，俱透戈切。跢字都餓切。地字澄買切。唎字上聲，與里同音。枳字止音。此呪人所誦持，並不與上一十五句相應，失本真也。欲期傚驗者，須正此句讀。

In this mantra there are six characters for *duo* (哆), annotated in the canon's scriptural edition as *duo he qie*, which is the correct pronunciation. The *Longshu [Jingtutu]* text, fearing that people would not pronounce this correctly, changed them all to the character *duo* (掇). Altering a mantra text arbitrarily is not permitted by tradition. There are two *ta* (他) characters, both pronounced *tou ge qie*. The *duo* (跢) character is *du e qie*. The *di* (地) character is *cheng mai qie*. The *li* (唎) character is in the rising tone, pronounced the same as *li* (里). The *zhi* (枳) character has the sound of *zhi* (止). The way people currently chant and uphold this mantra does not correspond with the fifteen phrases above, losing the original authenticity. Those who hope for efficacious results must rectify these phrase readings.
