The eighty-four thousand wondrous marks—could they be anything other than the Amitābha of our original nature? The distant realm of a hundred thousand koṭis of lands is definitely the Pure Land of mind-only. Although purity and defilement are separated, how could they transcend our own minds? Commoners and Buddhas are indeed different, yet how could they contradict our own nature? The substance of the mind is empty and open, not obstructing coming and going; nature originally encompasses all, so what harm is there in choosing and renouncing? Therefore, with a single thought one ascends to the precious realm, returning home to the native place where one was produced; in the snap of a finger one looks up before the compassionate countenance, truly reuniting the naturally genuine father and child. Inapt sentient beings betray this virtue and vainly suffer sinking into transmigrations. Today, offering sincere devotion, they will surely receive salvation. The three minds are fully aroused, and the single resolve speeds to the west. Exhausting the boundaries of the future to rely upon him, traversing dust-mote lands to sing his praise.
