問：十念彌陀，頓生淨土。據斯所說，果著因微。何故《彌陀經》稱不可以少善根福德因緣得生彼國？答：十念得生，接引懈怠眾生；却談多善因緣，乃被精勤之者。或廣或略，理不相違。

Question: With ten recitations of Amitābha, one is immediately born in the Pure Land. According to this, the fruit is prominent while the cause is slight. Why does the Amitābha Sūtra state that one cannot attain rebirth in that land with few roots of goodness, blessings, and virtue as causes and conditions? Answer: Rebirth through ten recitations receives and guides lax sentient beings; on the other hand, speaking of abundant good causes and conditions addresses diligent practitioners. Whether broad or concise, their principles do not contradict each other.
