八德澄渟號德池，金沙為底曜光輝，
水流又說無生偈，聞是觀心歛念時。
Clear and serene with eight virtues, it is called the pool of virtue, / With golden sand as its bed, glistening with brilliant light; / The flowing water furthermore expounds gāthās of non-arising: / Hearing this is the moment the contemplating mind focuses its mindfulness.
