萬人同志念彌陀，眾力相成願力多，
一朵蓮開親見佛，方知淨土勝娑婆。
樹林水鳥各宣揚，寶網金臺盡道場，
會得鐘鳴并鼓響，彌陀觸處放毫光。
鬢髮看看染雪霜，心猿意馬尚顛狂，
一朝掩目空歸去，始信泥犁歲月長。
業報差殊事不同，勞生無地出樊籠，
欲知自性彌陀佛，在汝朝昏一念中。
眾生苦海業坑深，不信因緣久溺沈，
聞得又聲方念佛，始知妻子老婆心。
不是山僧說是非，修行魔事要君知，
直須急峭草鞋底，透過娑婆五欲池。

Ten thousand people of like intent mindful of Amitābha;
With forces assisting each other, the power of vows is abundant.
When a single lotus opens and one personally sees the Buddha,
Only then does one know the Pure Land surpasses Sahā.
Trees, groves, waters, and birds each proclaim [the Dharma];
Jewelled nets and golden daises are all places of enlightenment.
If you understand the ringing bells and striking drums,
Amitābha everywhere radiates rays of light.
Look, hair at the temples is stained with snow and frost,
Yet monkey-mind and horse-intent are still wild and unruly.
When one day eyes close and one returns empty-handed,
Only then will one believe how long are the years and months in hell.
Karmic retributions vary, affairs are not the same;
A life of toil has nowhere to escape the cage.
If you wish to know the self-nature Amitābha Buddha,
He is within your single thought from dawn to dusk.
Sentient beings' ocean of suffering has deep karmic pits;
Not believing in causes and conditions, they sink for long.
Only when they hear sounds of mourning do they begin buddha-mindfulness;
Only then do they realize the wife's grandmotherly mind.
It is not that this mountain monk is speaking of right and wrong;
I want you to know about demonic events in practice.
You must quickly stiffen the soles of your straw sandals,
And step right through Sahā's pond of five desires.
