聞說西方最易求，萬緣從此一時休，
輪珠疊足圓蒲上，秖與彌陀作底頭。
聽教參禪逐外尋，未甞迴首一沈吟，
眼光將落前程暗，始信平生錯用心。

Hearing it said that the West is easiest to seek,
The myriad conditions cease from this single moment.
Counting beads with folded legs upon the round cushion,
I simply bow my head to Amitābha.
Listening to doctrines and investigating Chan, seeking outward,
I never turned my head back to ponder deeply.
When the light of the eyes is about to fall and the future path is dark,
Only then does one believe that all one's life, the mind was used mistakenly.
