不見祕書心若失，及見祕書失心疾，
安為動主理信然，我獨覺子神充實。
重聞西方之觀經，老身古寺風泠泠，
妻兒待米且歸去，他日杖藜來細聽。

Not seeing the Secretary, my mind felt lost; / But upon seeing the Secretary, I lost my mental ailment. / Tranquility masters movement—the principle is truly so; / I alone perceive that your spirit is rich and full. / Hearing once more the Contemplation Sūtra of the Western Direction, / This old body in the ancient temple feels the cool wind. / My wife and children await rice, so I must return for now; / Another day, leaning on my goosefoot staff, I shall come to listen in detail.
