5.79

佛以大圓覺，充滿十方界，
我以顛倒想，出沒生死中，
云何以一念，得往生淨土？
我造無始業，一念便有餘，
既從一念生，還從一念滅，
生滅滅盡處，則我與佛同。
如投水海中，如風中鼓橐，
雖有大聖智，亦不能分別。
願我先父母，及一切眾生，
在處為西方，所遇皆極樂，
人人無量壽，無去亦無來。

The Buddha, with great, perfect awakening, / fills the realms of the ten directions. / I, through inverted thoughts, / appear and disappear within birth and death. / How could it be that with a single thought / one attains rebirth in the Pure Land? / The beginningless karma that I have made / leaves ample residue in a single thought; / since it arises from a single thought, / it also ceases with a single thought. / At the point where arising and ceasing are extinguished, / then I and the Buddha are the same. / Like pouring water into the ocean, / like bellows blowing in the wind, / even with great, holy wisdom, / one could not distinguish them. / I vow that my deceased parents / and all sentient beings / will find that wherever they are is the West, / and whatever they encounter is Utmost Bliss; / each and every person having measureless life, / with neither going nor coming.
