The two sutras above are different translations of the same text. The Qin version lists the praises of the Buddhas of the six directions, while the Tang translation includes the praises of the Buddhas of the ten directions; this is also a difference in the translators' expansion or abridgment suited to their times. The Longshu Pure Land Writings claims that the Qin version dropped the four directions, but this fails to understand the textual variations in translation.
