1.42

《淨行法門》曰「懺悔似勤磨古鏡，旋消歷代之昏塵；念佛如私遇明君，頓獲他時之徵拔。春夏秋冬之內、行住坐臥之間，勤思淨土莊嚴、常憶阿彌陀佛，如是則念佛三昧現前矣。」

The Pure Practice Teaching states: "Repentance is like diligently polishing an ancient mirror, instantly dissolving the dark dust of successive ages; mindfulness of the buddha is like privately meeting an enlightened sovereign, suddenly obtaining promotion and advancement on a later day. Through spring, summer, autumn, and winter, whether walking, standing, sitting, or lying down, diligently reflect upon the adornments of the Pure Land and constantly be mindful of Amitābha Buddha; in this way, the buddhānusmṛti-samādhi will manifest before you."
