龍舒曰：「孟子謂『夫仁者亦在乎熟之而已。故君子無終食之間違仁，造次必於是、顛沛必於是，是欲其熟也。則無往而不為仁矣。』修淨土者亦然，故起居飲食、見聞動意皆在淨土，則身雖居五濁，其心已在彼土矣。」

Longshu said: "Mencius said: 'Benevolence simply lies in becoming thoroughly familiar with it. Therefore, a gentleman does not depart from benevolence even for the space of a single meal; in moments of haste he is bound to it, in times of stumble and peril he is bound to it. This is because he desires thorough familiarity with it; then wherever he goes, he will act with benevolence.' For practitioners of the Pure Land, it is also thus. Therefore, whether rising or resting, drinking or eating, whatever is seen, heard, moved by, or thought of, let all be in the Pure Land; then although the body resides in the five defilements, the mind is already in that land."
