《唐明皇雜錄》云「成都尹韋皐，始生一月，時有一胡僧見之曰：『別久，得無恙乎？』嬰兒若有喜色。眾問其故，僧曰：『此子乃諸葛武侯之後身。我昔與之交游，今復與之相見也如此。』」

The Miscellaneous Records of Tang Minghuang says: 'When Wei Gao, the governor of Chengdu, was one month old, a Central Asian monk saw him at that time and said: "Having been parted for so long, are you well?" The infant seemed to show a look of joy. When the crowd asked for the reason, the monk said: "This child is the later incarnation of Marquis Zhuge Wu. In the past, I wandered and associated with him, and now I meet with him again in this manner."'
