皇皇然而無求、惕惕然而無憂，閔頹風之將墜、攬眾善以同流，導之以仁、義之以寂、滅之以樂，其有作而莫識其無為，故中道奄然而示人以真覺。

Magnificent and seeking nothing, fearful and watchful without sorrow; lamenting that the decadent ways were about to collapse, gathering all good deeds to flow together with them. Guiding them with benevolence, making them righteous through quiescence, extinguishing them with bliss; where there is activity without recognizing non-action, he suddenly manifested the true awakening in the Middle Way to guide people.
