12.23

歸命樂邦大慈父，勇猛調御阿彌陀，
一音所演甚深經，菩薩聽聞賢聖眾，
普放慈光攝取我，成就十念菩提心，
長辭五濁淨諸緣，即趣九蓮如佛住。
佛月映臨我心水，我心亦映佛月中，
願力有在誓歸依，赴我懇求來接引。

I take refuge in the Great Compassionate Father of the Land of Bliss, / The valiant Tamer, Amitābha; / In the profound sūtras expounded with a single sound, / And the assemblies of bodhisattvas and worthy sages listening. / Universally emit compassionate light to embrace me, / Bringing to completion the bodhi-mind of ten recitations; / Bidding a long farewell to the five turbidities, purify all conditions, / And straightway proceed to the nine lotuses to abide like the Buddha. / The Buddha-moon reflects upon the water of my mind, / And my mind is also reflected in the Buddha-moon; / The vow power being present, I vow to take refuge; / Answering my fervent prayer, come to receive and guide me.
