12.29

上來誦經念佛功德，祝獻護法諸天，報答四恩三有，利樂法界眾生。我等一眾懺悔罪根，莊嚴淨土。願此身報盡臨捨壽時，承此善根決定得生極樂世界，見佛聞法，速證菩提，廣度群生，大作佛事。十方三世云云。

The merit from chanting sūtras and reciting the Buddha's name performed above is respectfully offered to the Dharma-protecting devas, repaying the four kindnesses and three kinds of existence, and benefiting the sentient beings of the dharmadhātu. All of us together repent the roots of our sins and adorn the Pure Land. We pray that when the retribution of this body is exhausted and we are about to relinquish our lifespan, relying on these good roots we will definitely obtain rebirth in Sukhāvatī, see the Buddha and hear the Dharma, quickly realize bodhi, broadly deliver sentient beings, and grandly perform the Buddha's work. Ten directions, three periods of time, and so on.
