4.27

（古本云：延祐乙卯四月十四日命工刊板，至十月初一夜刊至此板，出舍利一顆。初七日刊至法字上，又出舍利一顆。下元日刊至聖字上，又現舍利一顆。見存板中，留以供養云。伏望觀此文者、覩此靈驗者，同生深信堅固之心，請遵熏修，必生淨土。是即龍舒居士所謂自古及今修持者眾，豈無感應！斯言倍不輕也）

(An old edition says: 'On the fourteenth day of the fourth month of the yimao year of the Yanyou era [1315 CE], artisans were ordered to carve the printing blocks. On the first night of the tenth month, when carving reached this block, one śarīra emerged. On the seventh day, when carving reached the word fa [Dharma], another śarīra emerged. On the Xiayuan festival day, when carving reached the word sheng [Holy], yet another śarīra appeared. They remain preserved within the blocks, kept for veneration and offerings.' We respectfully hope that those who read this text and witness these miraculous responses will together give rise to a deep and firm faith, and please observe and practice according to it, surely to be born in the Pure Land. This is precisely what Layman Longshu meant when he said that practitioners from antiquity down to the present have been numerous; how could there be no stimulus and response! These words are doubly weighty.)
