兼觀想觀世音菩薩，身長八十萬億那由他由旬，身紫金色，手掌作五百億雜蓮華色，有八萬四千光，其光柔軟，以此寶手接引眾生。次觀想大勢至菩薩，身長八十萬億那由他由旬，舉身光明作紫金色，有緣眾生皆悉得見。次想自身生於西方極樂世界，於蓮華中結加趺坐，作蓮華合想開想，見佛菩薩滿虛空中。

Simultaneously, contemplate Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva, eighty million nayutas of yojanas tall, purple-gold in body, the palms of the hands displaying the colors of five hundred billion mixed lotuses, with eighty-four thousand rays of light, which are soft and pliable, using these jeweled hands to guide and receive sentient beings. Next, contemplate Mahāsthāmaprāpta Bodhisattva, eighty million nayutas of yojanas tall, the light of his entire body purple-gold in color, visible to all sentient beings who possess the karmic affinity. Next, visualize oneself being born in the Western Sukhāvatī, sitting cross-legged within a lotus flower, forming the thought of the lotus closing and the thought of it opening, and seeing the Buddhas and bodhisattvas filling empty space.
