予遍覽藏經，即無陰府寄庫之說。奉勸世人，以寄庫所費請僧為西方之供，一心西方，則必得往生。若不為此而為陰府寄庫，則是志在陰府，死必入陰府矣。譬如有人，不為君子之行以交結賢人君子，乃寄錢於司理院獄子處，待其下獄則用錢免罪。豈不謬哉！

I have widely inspected the canonical scriptures, and there is no talk whatsoever of 'depositing into the treasury of the underworld.' I urge the people of the world to use the expenses spent on underworld deposits to invite monks to make offerings for the West; with single-minded focus on the West, one will certainly attain rebirth. If instead of doing this one makes underworld deposits, one's aspiration is set on the underworld, and upon death one will surely enter the underworld! It is like someone who, rather than practicing the conduct of a noble man to associate with the worthy and noble, deposits money with the jailer of the judicial office, waiting until he is cast into prison to use the money to avoid punishment. Is that not completely absurd!
