5.32

淨真，住長安積善寺，納衣乞食一生無嗔，誦《金剛經》十萬遍，專精念佛。顯慶五年染疾，告弟子云：「五月內十度見阿彌陀佛，兩度見極樂世界寶蓮華上童子遊戲。吾得上品往生。」言訖跏趺而去，光照其寺。

Jingzhen lived at Jishan Monastery in Chang'an. Wearing patched robes and begging for food, throughout her life she harboured no anger. She chanted the Diamond Sūtra one hundred thousand times and was exclusively dedicated to the recollection of the Buddha. In the fifth year of Xianqing, she fell ill and told her disciples: "Within the fifth month, I have seen Amitābha Buddha ten times, and twice I have seen boys at play upon the jeweled lotuses of Sukhāvatī. I will attain rebirth in the highest grade." Having spoken these words, she crossed her legs and departed, a bright light illuminating the monastery.
