10.78

心佛由來強立名，都緣攝念遣迷情，
根塵頓處心珠現，幻翳空來慧鏡明。
一法不存猶是妄，全機拶碎未為平，
直須揣見虛空骨，看取優曇火內生。

Mind and Buddha were originally just names arbitrarily set up,
Only to rein in thoughts and dispel deluded sentiments.
When sense faculties and dust are suddenly shed, the mind-jewel appears;
When illusory cataracts empty out, the mirror of wisdom shines bright.
If not a single dharma is retained, it is still delusion;
Even when total function is crushed to pieces, it is not yet peace.
You must directly search out and see the bones of empty space,
And observe the udumbara blossom blooming within the fire.
