2.122

此土皆是大乘圓修三觀，十住、十行、十向、十地、等覺法身大士，如塵若沙，各各分破無明，分身十方八相成道，度脫眾生皆未究竟。天台賢首教委明。

This land contains entirely the Mahāyāna great beings of the dharmakāya who have completely cultivated the three contemplations—of the ten abodes, ten practices, ten dedications, ten stages, and virtual enlightenment—as numerous as dust motes and sands. Each has partially shattered ignorance, manifest bodies in the ten directions, accomplished the eight phases of attaining awakening, and delivered sentient beings, yet none has reached the ultimate. The teachings of Tiantai and Xianshou explain this in detail.
