此土皆是定性小乘根性，怕怖三界如虎鬼龍蛇，破見思惑、殺貪嗔癡，斷如來種如獐獨跳，不顧後群偏執小見，沈空滯寂生方便土，如來純說大乘調伏。

This land contains entirely those of fixed Hīnayāna disposition, who fear the three realms like tigers, ghosts, dragons, and serpents; who have shattered the delusions of view and thought and slain greed, anger, and delusion; who have severed the Tathāgata's lineage like a roe deer leaping alone, ignoring the herd behind it; who stubbornly cling to minor views, sinking into emptiness and stagnating in quiescence, born in the expedient land, where the Tathāgata purely expounds the Great Vehicle to subdue them.
