一、《涅槃經》云：「菩薩六念，念佛第一。」又云：「繫念思惟，因緣力故，得斷煩惱。」
The Mahāparinirvāṇa-sūtra says: "Among the six recollections of a bodhisattva, buddhānusmṛti is foremost." It also says: "Fixing mindfulness and contemplating—by the power of causes and conditions, one is able to cut off the afflictions."
