Question: “Practitioners need only worry that the Great Matter is not yet clear. Once the Great Matter is clarified, they should practice the Buddha’s teaching, manifesting bodies according to various types, entering the mud and water without shunning saṃsāra, to broadly deliver living beings. Why then seek rebirth in the Pure Land, detesting suffering and pursuing pleasure?”
