2.133

弟子眾等次當懺悔口業虛誑罪。或放縱口業，欺誑一切地獄畜生眾生，水陸虛空蠕動之類，不可知數。或欺誑一切修羅鬼神眾生，水陸虛空蠕動之類，不可知數。或欺誑一切人天三寶、師僧父母、六親眷屬、善知識、法界眾生，不可知數。或常作、無間作、故作、誤作、戲笑作，自作、教他作、隨喜作，邪貪惡貪作。如是等欺誑罪無量無邊，今對道場凡聖發露懺悔，永盡無餘。懺悔已，至心歸命阿彌陀佛。

"Next, we disciples and the assembly should repent the verbal sins of lying. We may have given free rein to verbal actions, deceiving and cheating all sentient beings of the hells and animals, the wriggling creatures on land, in water, and in the air, in unknowable numbers. We may have deceived and cheated all asuras, ghosts, and spirits, the wriggling creatures on land, in water, and in the air, in unknowable numbers. We may have deceived and cheated all humans, devas, the Three Jewels, teachers, monks, parents, relatives of the six relations, kalyāṇamitras, and sentient beings throughout the dharmadhātu, in unknowable numbers. We may have acted constantly, acted uninterruptedly, acted intentionally, acted by accident, or acted in jest; acted ourselves, taught others to act, or rejoiced in the act; or acted out of deviant and evil greed. Sins of deception and cheating such as these are measureless and boundless. Now, before the ordinary and holy beings of the bodhimaṇḍa, we reveal and repent them, eliminating them completely without remainder. Having repented, with utmost sincerity we take refuge in Amitābha Buddha."
