2.62

願往生願往生，釋迦如來告身子，即是普告苦眾生，娑婆六道非安處，冥冥長夜闇中行。聖化同居不相識，動生瞋毒鬪無明，為此無明繫六道，愛憎高下何時平？既無善業排生死，由貪造罪未心驚，犯此人皮裹驢骨，三塗自入不須爭。我等聞之心髓痛，誓願頓捨世間榮，普願回心生淨土。手執香華常供養。

Aspiring to rebirth, aspiring to rebirth! / Śākyamuni Tathāgata spoke to Śāriputra, / Which is to universally address suffering sentient beings: / The six paths of Sahā are not a place of peace; / Walking in darkness through the long, dark night. / Residing together with the holy teachings, they do not recognize them; / Constantly stirring up the poison of anger and fighting with ignorance. / Bound by this ignorance to the six paths, / When will love, hate, high, and low ever be balanced? / Having no good karma to overcome birth and death, / Through greed creating sins, their hearts are not yet startled. / Taking this human skin to wrap the bones of an ass, / They enter the three wretched paths on their own, needing no dispute. / Hearing this, our hearts and marrow ache; / We vow to immediately abandon worldly glory, / Universally wishing to turn our minds and be born in the Pure Land. / Holding fragrant flowers in hand, they ever make offerings.
