2.91

願往生願往生，北方諸佛如恒沙，皆舒舌相證牟尼，為我凡夫來出世，隨緣說法應時機。時機相感聞即悟，如說修行不致疑，七日稱名無間雜，身心踊躍喜還悲，慶得希聞自家國，諸佛證判得還歸。眾等回心皆願往，手執香華常供養。

We vow to be reborn! We vow to be reborn! / The Buddhas of the northern direction are like the sands of the Ganges, / all extending their tongue-marks to testify for the Sage [Śākya]muni: / for us ordinary mortals he came into the world, / expounding the Dharma according with conditions to meet the capacities of the time. / When capacity and time resonate, hearing [the Dharma] one immediately awakens, / practicing as taught without entertaining doubt. / For seven days invoking the name without interruption or mixture, / body and mind leap with mingled joy and sorrow: / rejoicing in having obtained the rare hearing of our own homeland, / confirmed and judged by the Buddhas, we are able to return. / May the entire assembly turn their hearts and all vow to go; / holding fragrant flowers in hand, let us make constant offerings.
