"May we be reborn, may we be reborn! / Though the bodies of the bodhisattvas and holy assembly differ, / Their compassion and wisdom are equal and without distinction; / Sparing neither body nor wealth to seek the wondrous Dharma, / Their difficult practices and austerities have never ceased. / Vowing to reach bodhi and ascend the other shore, / They radiate great light of compassion to deliver those in the stream of existence; / We ourselves are sentient beings in the stream of existence; / Riding this light, when our lives end we shall enter the West. / In body and mind all of us leap for joy, / Holding fragrant flowers in hand to make constant offerings."
