1.61

We, the assembly of disciples in this bodhimaṇḍa, from our original bodies down to this present life and this very day, have in the interim indulged our three karmic actions, committing such sins, delighting in committing and abundantly creating them immeasurably and boundlessly. Now, hearing the Buddha speak of the Avīci Hell, our hearts are terrified and our hairs stand on end, with boundless dread and boundless shame and remorse. Now before the ordinary and holy beings of this bodhimaṇḍa, we openly confess and repent, wishing that these sins be extinguished and forever eliminated without remainder. Having repented, with utmost sincerity we take refuge in and bow to Amitābha Buddha.
