敬白：十方諸佛、十二部經、諸大菩薩一切賢聖，及一切天龍八部、法界眾生、現前大眾等，證知我發露懺悔。從無始已來乃至今身，殺害一切三寶、師僧父母、六親眷屬、善知識、法界眾生，不可知數。偷盜一切三寶、師僧父母、六親眷屬、善知識、法界眾生物，不可知數。於一切三寶、師僧父母、六親眷屬、善知識、法界眾生上起邪心，不可知數。妄語欺誑一切三寶、師僧父母、六親眷屬、善知識、法界眾生，不可知數。綺語調𠱚一切三寶、師僧父母、六親眷屬、善知識、法界眾生，不可知數。惡口罵辱誹謗毀呰一切三寶、師僧父母、六親眷屬、善知識、法界眾生，不可知數。兩舌鬪亂破壞一切三寶、師僧父母、六親眷屬、善知識、法界眾生，不可知數。或破五戒、八戒、十戒、十善戒、二百五十戒、五百戒、菩薩三聚戒、十無盡戒，乃至一切戒及一切威儀戒等，自作教他、見作隨喜，不可知數。如是等眾罪，亦如十方大地無邊微塵無數，我等作罪亦復無數。虛空無邊，我等作罪亦復無邊。方便無邊，我等作罪亦復無邊。法性無邊，我等作罪亦復無邊。法界無邊，我等作罪亦復無邊。眾生無邊，我等劫奪殺害亦復無邊。三寶無邊，我等侵損劫奪殺害亦復無邊。戒品無邊，我等毀犯亦復無邊。如是等罪，上至諸菩薩、下至聲聞緣覺所不能知，唯佛與佛乃能知我罪之多少。今於三寶前、法界眾生前發露懺悔，不敢覆藏。唯願十方三寶法界眾生，受我懺悔、憶我清淨。始從今日，願共法界眾生，捨邪歸正、發菩提心，慈心相向、佛眼相看，菩提眷屬作真善知識，同生阿彌陀佛國，乃至成佛如是等罪永斷相續，更不敢作。懺悔已，至心歸命阿彌陀佛（廣懺竟）。

I respectfully address: the Buddhas of the ten directions, the twelve divisions of scriptures, all the great Bodhisattvas and all the worthy and holy ones, as well as all the eight classes of devas and nāgas, sentient beings of the Dharma realm, and the great assembly present here: witness and know my disclosure and repentance. From the beginningless past down to this present body, the killing and harming of all Three Jewels, teachers, monks, parents, relatives and kin, spiritual friends, and sentient beings of the Dharma realm is beyond knowing the count. The stealing of objects belonging to all Three Jewels, teachers, monks, parents, relatives and kin, spiritual friends, and sentient beings of the Dharma realm is beyond knowing the count. The arousing of deviant thoughts toward all Three Jewels, teachers, monks, parents, relatives and kin, spiritual friends, and sentient beings of the Dharma realm is beyond knowing the count. Deceiving and lying to all Three Jewels, teachers, monks, parents, relatives and kin, spiritual friends, and sentient beings of the Dharma realm is beyond knowing the count. Frivolous talk and mocking of all Three Jewels, teachers, monks, parents, relatives and kin, spiritual friends, and sentient beings of the Dharma realm is beyond knowing the count. Harsh speech, reviling, slandering, and disparaging all Three Jewels, teachers, monks, parents, relatives and kin, spiritual friends, and sentient beings of the Dharma realm is beyond knowing the count. Divisive speech causing strife and breaking concord among all Three Jewels, teachers, monks, parents, relatives and kin, spiritual friends, and sentient beings of the Dharma realm is beyond knowing the count. Or breaking the five precepts, eight precepts, ten precepts, ten virtuous precepts, two hundred and fifty precepts, five hundred precepts, the three collections of Bodhisattva precepts, the ten inexhaustible precepts, down to all precepts and all deportment precepts, committing them oneself, teaching others to do so, or rejoicing upon seeing them done, is beyond knowing the count. Such multitude of sins are like the boundless countless dust motes of the great earth in the ten directions; the sins committed by us are also countless. Space is boundless; the sins committed by us are also boundless. Skillful means are boundless; the sins committed by us are also boundless. Dharma-nature is boundless; the sins committed by us are also boundless. The Dharma realm is boundless; the sins committed by us are also boundless. Sentient beings are boundless; our robbing and killing are also boundless. The Three Jewels are boundless; our encroaching upon, plundering, and killing are also boundless. Precept-classes are boundless; our transgressing and violating them are also boundless. Such sins as these—above, down to all Bodhisattvas, and below, down to Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, cannot know them; only Buddha with Buddha can know the extent of my sins. Now before the Three Jewels and before the sentient beings of the Dharma realm, I disclose and repent, not daring to conceal them. I only pray that the Three Jewels of the ten directions and the sentient beings of the Dharma realm receive my repentance and remember me as pure. Starting from this day, I vow together with sentient beings of the Dharma realm to abandon the deviant and return to the correct, generate the bodhicitta, face one another with compassionate minds, look upon one another with the Buddha's eye, make the bodhi-kin into true spiritual friends, together be born in the land of Amitābha Buddha, and down to attaining Buddhahood, forever sever the continuity of such sins as these, never daring to commit them again. Having repented, with a sincere mind I take refuge in Amitābha Buddha. (Extensive repentance ends.)
