1.74

煩惱深無底，生死海無邊，
度苦船未立，云何樂睡眠？
勇猛勤精進，攝心常在禪。

Afflictions are bottomless in their depth; / the ocean of saṃsāra is boundless. / When the boat to cross over suffering is not yet built, / how can you delight in sleep? / Be courageous and diligently exert yourself; / gather your mind and remain constantly in dhyāna.
