彌陀身色如金山，相好光明照十方，唯有念佛蒙光攝，當知本願最為強。十方如來舒舌證，專稱名號至西方，到彼花開聞妙法，十地願行自然彰。

The color of Amitābha's body is like a mountain of gold;
his major and minor marks of light illuminate the ten directions.
Only those who practice mindfulness of the Buddha receive the light's embrace;
know that his fundamental vows are the most powerful.
The Tathāgatas of the ten directions extend their tongues in testimony:
singly recite the name to reach the Western Direction;
arriving there, the flowers open to hear the wondrous Dharma,
and the vows and practices of the ten stages naturally become manifest.
