中輩中行中根人，一日齋戒處金蓮，孝養父母教迴向，為說西方快樂因。佛與聲聞眾來取，直到彌陀華座前，百寶花籠經七日，三品蓮開證小真。

Those of the middle rank, middle practice, and middle faculties, / For one day observe the precepts and abide in a golden lotus, / Filially providing for their parents and being taught dedication, / Having the causes of joy in the West explained for them. / The Buddha and the assembly of śrāvakas come to receive them, / Leading them directly before Amitābha's flower seat; / In the lotus cage of a hundred jewels, seven days elapse, / When the three grades of lotuses open and they realize lesser truth.
