第一趣道勝，第二發心勝，
第三功德勝，第四福田勝，
第五受罪輕微勝，
第六處胎勝，第七神通勝，
第八果報勝。

First is the superiority of heading toward the path; / Second is the superiority of generating the mind [of awakening]; / Third is the superiority of merit; / Fourth is the superiority of the field of merit; / Fifth is the superiority of minor suffering for misdeeds; / Sixth is the superiority of dwelling in the womb; / Seventh is the superiority of spiritual powers; / Eighth is the superiority of the karmic retribution.
