南無西方極樂世界，諸菩薩清淨大海眾。願共眾生咸歸命，故我頂禮生彼國。

Namo to the pure, ocean-like assembly of all bodhisattvas in the Western Realm, the Land of Utmost Bliss. I vow, together with all sentient beings, to take refuge; therefore I prostrate and aspire to be born in that land.
