憂曇花（希現），大眾用心聽（彩憐），
沈淪五欲境，託陰入幽胎，巧風吹氣滿（希現），
形假出身來（彩憐）。憂曇華（希現），大眾用心聽（彩憐），
能令眷屬喜，車康弄孾姟，初教掌中立（希現），
慈母逐身迴（彩憐）。憂曇華，大眾用心聽（彩憐），
竹馬緣林巷，聚落摧沙堆，雙眉分柳葉（希現），
兩頰似桃華（彩憐）。憂曇華，大眾用心聽（彩憐），
年至經三五，專事好榮華，携琴徹夜飲（希現），
翫是望朝霞。憂曇華，大眾用心聽（彩憐），
盛色心驍踊，傲慢造英雄，逍遙龍馬上（希現），
徘徊琴酒中（彩憐）。憂曇華，大眾用心聽（彩憐），
對坐看明月（彩憐），獨坐度清風，手把相如釰（希現），
不畏死生弓。憂曇華，大眾用心聽，
拔劍平四海，橫戈敵萬夫，一朝床枕上（希現），
起坐聽人扶（彩憐）。咄嗟長歎息，誰知老所侵？
八十將衰邁（希現），萬事不堪住（彩憐）。憂曇華，
大眾用心聽（彩憐），曾經霜露積，慮被風雨侵，
欲作西方業（希現），無過少壯心。憂曇華（希現），
大眾用心聽（彩憐），世間住日少，臥土積年多，
髑髏離骨散（希現），肉斷筋還㧪（彩憐）。憂曇華（希現），
大眾用心聽（彩憐），支節皆顛倒，飜成尖奮渦，
計我凡夫骨（希現），堪成毘富羅（希現）。憂曇華（希現），
大眾用心聽（彩憐），縱令勤遂善，終是識昏沈，
紅顏一罷艶（希現），白頭寧久吟（彩憐）。

Udumbara flower (rarely appearing), / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / Sinking into the sphere of the five desires, / relying on darkness to enter the obscure womb. / Clever winds blow and breath fills (rarely appearing), / and an illusory form emerges, bringing forth the body (such pity). / Udumbara flower (rarely appearing), / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / Bringing joy to relatives and family, / they rock the cradle and dote on the infant. / First teaching it to stand upon the palms (rarely appearing), / the loving mother follows its body as it turns about (such pity). / Udumbara flower, / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / Playing with bamboo horses along wooded lanes, / in the village knocking down sand piles. / The two eyebrows part like willow leaves (rarely appearing), / and the two cheeks resemble peach blossoms (such pity). / Udumbara flower, / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / When the years reach three times five, / one is devoted solely to pursuing glory and splendour. / Carrying a lute, one drinks through the entire night (rarely appearing), / making merry while gazing at the morning dawn. / Udumbara flower, / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / In the prime of beauty, the heart is bold and daring, / haughty, playing the hero. / Carefree atop a dragon-steed (rarely appearing), / lingering amidst lute and wine (such pity). / Udumbara flower, / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / Sitting together, gazing at the bright moon (such pity), / sitting alone, feeling the clear breeze. / In hand holding a sword like Xiangru's (rarely appearing), / having no fear of the bow of birth and death. / Udumbara flower, / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts: / Drawing the sword to pacify the four seas, / leveling the lance to confront ten thousand men. / One morning laid upon the bed and pillow (rarely appearing), / sitting up and lying down relying on others' support (such pity). / With sudden cries and deep sighs, / who knew that old age would invade? / At eighty, about to decline and decay (rarely appearing), / unable to endure ten thousand affairs (such pity). / Udumbara flower, / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / Having weathered the accumulation of frost and dew, / one fears being stricken by wind and rain. / If you wish to cultivate the karma for the Western [land] (rarely appearing), / nothing surpasses the vigor of youth. / Udumbara flower (rarely appearing), / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / The days dwelling in the world are few; / lying in the earth accumulates many years. / The skull separates from the scattered bones (rarely appearing); / flesh severed, the sinews still snap (such pity). / Udumbara flower (rarely appearing), / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / The limbs and joints are all overturned, / turning into a swirling pit. / Reckoning the bones of us ordinary mortals (rarely appearing), / they would suffice to form Mount Vipula (rarely appearing). / Udumbara flower (rarely appearing), / great assembly, listen attentively with your hearts (such pity): / Even if one diligently pursues good, / in the end consciousness remains benighted. / Once the rosy complexion ceases its charm (rarely appearing), / how can a white head long recite poems (such pity)?
