2.37

文殊師利，妙德法王之子，是七佛之祖師，號龍種上尊王佛。雖得佛道轉于法輪入於涅槃，而不捨於菩薩之道教化眾生。無量功德皆成就，無量佛土皆嚴淨，其見聞者無不蒙益，諸有所作亦不唐捐。現在東北方金色世界清涼山內，住首楞嚴三昧，與一萬菩薩同會，利樂苦眾生，故我遙頂禮。

Mañjuśrī, son of the Dharma King of Wondrous Virtue, is the ancestral teacher of the seven Buddhas, titled Viseṣacintā-rāja Buddha. Although he attained the Buddha path, turned the wheel of the Dharma, and entered into nirvāṇa, he does not abandon the bodhisattva path to instruct and transform sentient beings. Boundless merits have all been accomplished, and boundless buddha lands have all been adorned and purified. Those who see or hear him never fail to receive benefit, and whatever he undertakes is also never in vain. He presently abides in the Śūraṅgama Samādhi within Mount Qingliang of the Golden World in the northeast, gathering together with ten thousand bodhisattvas to benefit and bring joy to suffering sentient beings; therefore, from afar, I bow down and pay homage.
