一心敬禮本師釋迦牟尼佛。（唱竟，一禮。想云：「能禮、所禮性空寂，感應道交難思議，我此道場如帝珠，釋迦如來影現中，我身影現釋迦前，頭面接足歸命禮。」下去同用。）

With singlemindedness I reverently prostrate to our fundamental teacher, Śākyamuni Buddha. (After chanting, make one prostration. Visualize, saying: "The one who prostrates and the one prostrated to are both quiescent in nature; / The connection through resonance between the Way and response is inconceivable. / This bodhimaṇḍa of mine is like Indra's jewel net, / In which Śākyamuni Tathāgata reflects and appears; / The reflection of my body appears before Śākyamuni; / With head and face touching his feet, I take refuge and prostrate."
