1.57

一心敬禮極樂世界觀世音菩薩摩訶薩。（想此菩薩侍彌陀左邊，坐蓮華座。偈同禮佛，但改菩薩為異。）

With singlemindedness I reverently prostrate to Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva Mahāsattva of Sukhāvatī. (Visualize this bodhisattva attending to Amitābha's left side, seated on a lotus throne. The verse is the same as prostrating to the Buddha, only changing it for a bodhisattva.)
