到翠峯，峯問：「甚處來？」師云：「黃蘗來。」峯云：「黃蘗有何言句指示於人？」師云：「黃蘗無言句。」峯云：「為什麼無？」師云：「設有，亦無舉處。」峯云：「但舉看。」師云：「一箭過西天。」

He arrived at Cuifeng. Feng asked, "Where do you come from?" The Master said, "I come from Huangbo." Feng said, "What words does Huangbo have to instruct people?" The Master said, "Huangbo has no words." Feng said, "Why does he have none?" The Master said, "Even if he had, there would be nowhere to cite them." Feng said, "Just cite them and let me see." The Master said, "An arrow shoots past the Western Heavens."
