未了心源度數春，翻嗟浮世謾逡巡，
幾人得道空門裏，獨我淹留在世塵。
謹具尺書辭眷愛，愿明大法報慈親，
不須洒淚頻相憶，譬似當初無我身。
巖下白雲常作伴，峯前碧障以為隣，
免干世上名與利，永別人間愛與憎。
祖意直教言下曉，玄微須透句中真，
合門親戚要相見，直待當來證果因。

Not yet having comprehended the mind-source, several springs have passed; / Turning about, I lament the floating world vainly hesitating. / How many have attained the Way within the empty gate, / While I alone linger on in worldly dust? / Respectfully I prepare this letter to bid farewell to family love, / Wishing to clarify the Great Dharma to repay my loving mother. / There is no need to shed tears and constantly think of me; / It is just as if at the very start my body never existed. / White clouds beneath the crags will constantly be my companions; / The green barrier before the peaks will serve as my neighbour. / Spared from meddling in worldly fame and gain, / I part forever from human affection and hatred. / Let the ancestral intention be understood straightaway under the words; / The profound subtlety must penetrate the truth within the phrases. / If all the relatives under our roof wish to see each other, / They must wait until the fruit is realized in the future.
