不求名利不求儒，愿樂空門捨俗徒，
煩惱盡時愁火滅，恩情斷處愛河枯。
六根戒定香風引，一念無生慧力扶，
為報北堂休悵望，譬如死了譬如無。

Seeking neither fame and gain nor Confucian scholarship, / Joyfully wishing for the empty gate, I forsake worldly folk. / When afflictions are exhausted, the fire of sorrow is extinguished; / Where affection is cut off, the river of love runs dry. / The six faculties are drawn by the fragrant breeze of precepts and concentration; / A single thought of non-arising is aided by the power of wisdom. / Tell my mother to cease her sorrowful yearning: / It is just as if I had died, just as if I were not.
