僧問：「和尚出世幾人肯？」師云：「並無一人肯。」僧云：「為甚麼並無一人肯？」師云：「為他箇箇氣宇如王。」

A monk asked, "How many people approve of the upādhyāya's appearing in the world?" The Master said, "Not a single person approves." The monk said, "Why does not a single person approve?" The Master said, "Because every single one of them has the bearing of a king."
