1.125

問：「沙門行箇什麼行？」曰：「畜生行。」「如何是畜生行？」曰：「披毛戴角。」「如何是（披毛戴角）沙門行？」曰：「物物不間斷。」「不間斷底事如何？」曰：「始得行。」「如何是披毛戴角底人？」曰：「不懼業。」「為甚麼到恁麼地？」曰：「若不懼業，甚麼處不到。」

He asked: "What kind of conduct is the conduct of a śramaṇa?" He said: "The conduct of a beast." "What is the conduct of a beast?" He said: "Wearing fur and sporting horns." "What is the conduct of a śramaṇa [wearing fur and sporting horns]?" He said: "Thing after thing without interruption." "What is the matter of being without interruption?" He said: "Only then does one attain the conduct." "What kind of person is one who wears fur and sports horns?" He said: "One who does not fear karma." "Why does he arrive at such a ground?" He said: "If one does not fear karma, what place does one not arrive at?"
