僧問：「學人十二時中，如何保任？」師曰：「如經蠱毒之鄉，水不得沾著一滴。」

A monk asked, "How should a practitioner preserve and maintain throughout the twelve hours of the day?" The Master said, "As though passing through a land of poison; not a single drop of water may touch you."
